White powder, density 2.484 (20°C), readily soluble in water, insoluble in organic solvents, hygroscopic, sticky when exposed to air humidity, can form solvent compounds with metal ions such as Ca, Ba, Mg, Cu, Fe; an excellent water treatment agent.

Food industry
Quality improver: Used in ice cream, beans, canned fruits and vegetables, dairy products, beverages, etc., to improve the complex metal ions of food, pH value, increase ionic strength, etc., so as to improve the binding strength and water retention of food.
Clarifying agent: added to beer, can clarify the liquor, prevent turbidity.
Industrial trade
