Product Information

1. Colorless to white needle-like crystals or crystalline powder, anhydrous or containing 1 to 12 molecules of crystal water, odorless. The melting point of the dodecahydrate is 73.4°C. Soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol. A 1% aqueous solution has a pH value of 11.5 to 12.1.
2. Colorless or white crystals. Soluble in water, its aqueous solution is strongly alkaline; insoluble in ethanol, carbon disulfide.
